Column Predicts Campaign Brawl in the 157th

A local columnist predicts a "contentious era of combat" in the 2012 Kampf-Drucker re-match. What do you think?

The race is on and the gloves are off in the campaign to represent Pennsylvania's 157th House District.

This year's campaign is a rematch of the 2010 campaign, when Warren Kampf (R-PA 157) beat out one-term incumbent Democrat Paul Drucker by less than 1,000 votes. Drucker, who like Kampf, lives in Tredyffrin Township and once served on the Tredyffrin Board of Supervisors,

Drucker's successful 2008 campaign for the seat was also historic for the amount of money spent. It is widely considered to be one of the most expensive campaigns ever waged for a seat in the Pennsylvania House.
