Conestoga Boys LAX Rolls on in State Tourney
The Pioneers shut down Hempfield in opening round of the PIAA Stat Tournament.
The 2012 Boys Lacrosse team juggernaut rolls on with a first round victory Wednesday night in the PIAA State Tournament. The District 1 Champion Conestoga team shut down Hempfield 9-4 in a Wednesday night game at WC Henderson.
The Pioneers now move on to the quarter final round. Conestoga will take on Carlisle Saturday in the quarter final round of the state tournament to be played at Exeter Township High School. Game time is still to be determined.
The Pioneers were 15-3 on the regular season before shutting down all opponents in teh District 1 play-offs. Click here for a recap of the team's 2012 season record to date.
