Conestoga Rowers to Compete in England

Ten members of the Conestoga High School Crew Club will be travelling to Henley-on-Thames in England this June to compete in the prestigious Henley regattas. 

For the first time in the history of the Club, the Conestoga Men’s Varsity Quad comprised of seniors Ben Morosse, Cuyler Hamilton, Mike DiLucca and Nick Nalbone will be competing from June 27 through July 1, 2012 at the Henley Royal Regatta in the quadruple scull event for the Fawley Challenge Cup.

The Conestoga Women’s Varsity Double comprised of seniors Ali Siegele and Nicole DeStefano will be rowing for The Rayner Cup in the double scull event at the Henley Women’s Regatta from June 15 to June 17, 2012.  The Conestoga Women’s Varsity quad, sophomores Anne Graf, Maddy Tessier-Kay, Rebecca Simonetti and Meagan Hudson, will also be competing at the Women’s Regatta for The Bea Langridge Trophy in the quadruple scull event.  Conestoga won this trophy in 2006.  After competing at the Henley Women’s Regatta, the Women’s Varsity Quad will row hard at the Henley Royal for the Junior Women’s Quadruple Sculls Cup.

Fundraiser Scheduled for June 1
