Coolest Soda Dispenser Ever? 1 Tap, 100 Drinks

It's one of the most talked about new features in one of the most-talked about new businesses in our area. One machine, 100 choices.

Two of these new cutting-edge self-serve Coke machines are in the market Cafe at the new Wegmans on Upper Gulph Road just over the Tredyffrin Township Line in Upper Merion. A Wegmans spokeswoman says the design is new to this Wegmans store. The Malvern Wegmans has a more traditional soda bar with separate taps for each soda variety.

The machines feature a touch screen that allows customers to pick from a variety of sodas, fruit drinks and waters. They also dispense ice. The machine is compact and takes up about as much space an apartment-sized refrigerator.

While not 100 percent certain, the Wegmans spokeswoman says it may also be the first of its kind or one of just a handful in any store in the King of Prussia/Upper Main Line area.
