Deadline Friday for Business Association College Scholarship
High school seniors can apply for one of three $1,000 scholarships awarded by the Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association.

Time is running out for local high school students to apply for a little extra help with those mounting tuition costs.
The Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association is accepting applications from local graduating high school seniors interested in a chance to win one of three $1,000 college scholarships. Applications must be received by May 1.
Preference is given to residents of Easttown and Tredyffrin whose parents are affiliated with the association (either as a member of the association or as an employee of a member business).

Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume and a school transcript. Interested applicants should visit the BDBPA website.

1) Cover letter which includes:
a. Your parent’s/caregiver’s affiliation with BDBPA
b. What college/university you will attend in the fall and what you want to study
c. Describe why you think the BDBPA should acknowledge your accomplishments with a scholarship
2) Resume which includes:
a. Education
b. Work experience
c. Extracurricular activities (clubs, hobbies, performing arts, sports and special interests)
d. Volunteer activities
e. Special skills
3) School transcript(s) – if your current transcript cover only one-two years, send a second transcript covering previous years.
