Devon Carjacking Suspect Arrested

A 20-year-old Philadelphia man is in custody in Philadelphia on charges of carjacking a 17-year-old on Sept. 19 in Devon Square parking lot.

TREDYFFRIN, PA — A 20-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested today in the Sept. 19 carjacking of a 17-year-old in the parking lot of the Devon Square Shopping Center in the Devon section of Tredyffrin Township.

Siheem Walker is in custody in Philadelphia awaiting arraignment on charges of robbery of a motor vehicle, robbery, threatening serious bodily injury and related charges.

The victim had returned to his car at 5:15 p.m. after buying milk in a store when two males entered his vehicle and displayed handguns while robbing him of his belongings, police said.

The victim was not injured.

The vehicle was recovered in Philadelphia several hours after the carjacking, police said.

The investigation into this incident remains active as detectives attempt to identify Walker’s co-conspirator.
