Devon Horse Show & Country Fair Returns
The oldest and largest horse show and country fair in the United States begins Thursday.
EASTTOWN TWP, PA —The Devon Horse Show and County Fair is back after being canceled for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Volunteers were feverishly working Sunday to set up for the 126th anniversary of the oldest and largest multi-breed horse competition and county fair in the United States.
The sign on the Main Line arena says “Where Champions Meet,” which is also known as the “Blue and White Cathedral on Lancaster Avenue.” The address is 23 Dorsett Road, Devon, PA 19333.

The event runs Thursday, through Sunday, June 5. The gates open at 8 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
The country fair begins at 10 a.m., featuring food booths, crafts, plants and an amusement park with a ferris wheel, carousel and games for children of all ages.

Lemon sticks, homemade fudge, ice cream and fries are among the favorite treats for fair-goers.
The event attracts more than 120,000 spectators.
The horse show features Jumping, Equitation, Hunters, Saddlebred, Hackney and Coaching divisions.
The fair has 120 chairpersons and 2,000 volunteers.
For many spectators and participants, the fair is a family tradition spanning many generations.
The profits go to Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation, which supports the Bryn Mawr Hospital.
