Equestrian D-Day: Devon Horse Show Opens

Local volunteers and the best of the horse world put the finishing touches in place for today's opening of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair.

The eyes of the equestrian world will be on Devon as the   opens this morning. The show runs through June 3.

Last minute preparations were underway Wednesday, including setting up shop display racks, hanging sponor banners, adding plants to the roof of at least one cottage shop, distributing fire extinguishers and more.

If you're , general admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger or seniors 65 and older. If you're interested in grand stand seats, check the Devon website. Prices vary depending on day, seats and time.
