Drug-Sniffing Dogs Search Conestoga H.S.
Drug sniffing dogs inspect 600 student backpacks and lockers during a 45 minute lockdown at Conestoga High School.

T/E School District officials report Conestoga High School was in lockdown mode for 45 minutes on Friday morning as police and drug sniffing dogs conducted a search of 600 student backpacks and lockers.
A report on the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District website says the search turned up no illegal substances.

The search was announced through the public address system and conducted during a lockdown status, during which instruction continued. The search involved two dogs, dog handlers, Conestoga administrators and Tredyffrin Township police officers. The search involved approximately 600 student backpacks and lockers. No illegal substances were found. The search was concluded in approximately 45 minutes.
