Eagles Take Monday Night Season Opener

First Eagles game of the season keeps fans cheering at the bar until the final minute.

The crowd was big and noisy inside Landmark Americana in Devon as the Eagles fight to bring new head coach Chip Kelly a 33-27 victory against the Redskins on the road in Washington's FedEx field.

With just a little over one minute left on the clock and the game wrapped up as the Eagles took control of the ball the bar empties quickly.  Monday is, after all a 'school night' for most of the working age people who had turned out to cheer on their teams.

The crowd at Landmark had its share of Redskins fans but they were drowned four by Eagles fans hungry for a win in the first game under veteran U. of Oregon but rookie NFL coach Chip Kelly.
