Emergency Bridge Repair On Chesterbrook Blvd. Begins Monday: PennDOT

The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. Motorists can expect lane closures.

TREDYFFRIN, PA – PennDOT announced Wednesday that Tredyffrin Township crews will perform bridge repairs on the Chesterbrook Boulevard Bridge over U.S. 202 on Monday, April 10.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

In late February, PennDOT notified the township an area in the southbound lane of the bridge has cracks with the potential for water to come down to the traffic.

The township supervisors approved a $123,050 contract to hire Loftus Construction, Cinnaminson, N.J., to do the emergency repairs.

The work will also involve reducing water penetration and repainting the graffiti.
