First Taste of Berwyn Event is Sunday Afternoon

The first of what organizers hope will become an annual restaurant festival to benefit Daemion Counseling Center is scheduled for Sunday from 2-6 p.m..Â

The event is a benefit for Daemion Counseling Center, a 43-year-old non profit center that works with clients regardless of income.
According to a posting on the Daemion website the event is located at Lancaster Avenue and Main Avenue, directly behind Malvern Federal Savings Bank and 30 Main restaurant. Main Avenue will be closed between 1:00PM-7:00PM for the festival. The event is free; however, beverages and food may be purchased. Free parking is available at St. Monica’s Church, 635 First Avenue, and Trinity Presbyterian Church, 640 Berwyn Avenue. For up to the minute information call 610-647-1431 or go to   www.Facebook.com/TasteBerwyn.

Some of the restaurants and specialty food providers participating are Alfredo Italian, Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza, Margaret Kuo’s, Clay’s Creative Corner Bakery, and 30 MAIN.Â
