Former Yang's Market Location Re-Opens June 8
The former Yang's market location will be re-invented and fully renovated from top to bottom.

A new produce and catering/food market is set to open next Friday in the former Yang's maket in Berwyn.
Taking a break from marathon meetings Wednesday afternoon at her Anue Bistro in Berwyn, the market's new owner Meridith Coyle would only tell TE Patch that the former Yang's market will open next Friday, June 8.
Coyle purchased the former Yang's Market last month after a deal to sell the market to a long time employee fell through. According to the new market's website it will be a fresh produce/prepared meals to go hybrid market.

Massiv building renovations are underway. A peek inside the door Wednesday revealed a newly renovated interior, giant stainless steel refrigerators and new windows.
The Shopfreshideas.com website says Coyle will be "mentored" in fresh produce by Mr. Yang who sold premium fresh produce from the market location for 14 years. Yang was seriously injured and left virtually blind in his left eye after a vicious attack and robbery in the parking lot outside the market's front door back in January. The injury left him unable to drive or to operate the market as he had before the attack.

Two teens, including one who had worked briefly for Yang are being held and face charges in the attack.
Yang's daughter Chae and Coyle have said Mr. Yang will have a role in the new market which will not bear his name. The ShopFreshIdeas.com website says "After 23 years of running a successful produce market in Berwyn "YANGS", Mr. Yang is now mentoring Meridith in the Art of conventional produce. She will also be following her own passion in bringing Farm Fresh Foods to our area."
