Free Dessert is Icing on the Cake for this Theater Experience
Footlighters adds a free sweet treat to Thursday's performance to celebrate 85th season opener.

One of the things that helps people cope is food, and David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer prize winning show, RABBIT HOLE, is known for the parade of desserts that work their way through its plot line. As a special treat, Thursday September 12th has been declared "Dessert Night" at Footlighters Theater in Berwyn. During intermission, a complimentary buffet of desserts will be provided, mimicing the assortment of sweet treats shared each night on stage!Â
RABBIT HOLE has been playing to rave reviews at Footlighters Theater for the past two weekends. Audience members are heard alternately sniffling, then laughing, the sniffling again. Patrons leaving the theater are consistently commenting on both the wonderful performance, but also making special note of the quality of the acting.
Rolling seamlessly along between hilarity and grief, RABBIT HOLE opens a window into the soul of a family coping with a profound loss. As each of the family members seeks to find their own peace, their day to day existence together provides plenty of typical family angst over both the big and the small conversations of life. The two-act play is strongly connected to "real life" and consistently tugs on its audiences' hearts as patrons find themselves emersed into the roller coaster of family dynamics.
