Guns and Hoses: Firefighters Take on Cops

It's a basbeball battle royale as area first responders take to the field for the annual Guns and Hoses basbeball game.

Eva Pastor, a business volunteer with the Berwyn Fire Company, uploaded these photos to TE Patch.

Eva reports that:

There were 5 teams in all ... Berwyn #1, Berwyn #2, Easttown Police, Radnor Police, and Paoli Fire/Police.

All teams played each other at one point in the day. Radnor Police and Berwyn #1 ended the day with 3 wins and 2 loss a piece. The games in the upper field (Toscani field) were high scoring with may balls going over the fence and even onto Howellville Road.

Free food was provided for the teams as well as the spectators (hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hotdogs, grilled chicken, chips, fruit salad and two cakes with the message "Thank You For Your Service" written on each one.
