Honored Berwyn Vet to be Buried at Arlington
The decorated Berwyn war vet received the purple heart and will be honored with a burial at Arlington National Cemetery.

Decorated Berwyn Army vet Thomas Timmins will be honored with a burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
Timmins died on August 4 at age 87. According to an obituary posted on dignitymemorial.com, "he was a WWII Army Veteran wounded @ Monte Cassino, Italy and was a recipient of various medals, including the Purple Heart & Bronze Star."
Timmins who was known by many as "Captiain" went on from his time in the Army to become a Professional Sports Fishing captain and was an Honorary Deputy of the PA Fish & Wildlife Commission.

Timmins is survived by Jane Timmins, his wife of 58 years, five children and six grandchildren. A public memorial is scheduled for next Friday, August 17 at St. Norbert's Church in Paoli. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be private.
