It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like a Wet Christmas
A Hazardous Weather Outlook is in place for the region.

Nothing white to see here, folks: We’re looking at a wet, windy Christmas.
“A strong low-pressure system will bring heavy rain and gusty winds on Christmas Eve,” the National Weather Service said.
With highs in the 50s expected on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, there’s essentially no chance of a White Christmas this year. A Hazardous Weather Outlook is in place for the region.

The Philadelphia region received trace amounts of snow on Christmas Eve 2013, the NWS said, and about 0.2 inches of snow on Christmas Eve 2012. However, the last time the region had any measurable snow depth on Christmas Day was 2009, when there were 8 inches on the ground Dec. 25.
