Kids Douse Fire on YMCA Lawn: Home safety entails more than the mere “stop, drop and roll” as camp goers of the Main Line learned on Wednesday. With the assistance of local volunteers, the kids pumped fire hoses and extinguished flames on the sodden grass of the Upper Main Line YMCA fields.

Five 'Simulated Dead' and Dozens "Play Injured' in School Shooting Response Drill: The call went out just before noon on Tuesday--reports of a gunman opening fire inside Conestoga High School. In less than a minute, you could hear the sirens approaching the area. As the first Tredyffrin Police cars turned the corner from Conestoga Road and raced into the parking lot across the street from the building entrance on Irish Road, they turned off their lights and sirens. With the clock ticking and every second counting, the first of the first responders don't want to a gunman to know where they are.

Priority Care Center Closed: The Priority Care Center urgent care facility at the Gateway Shopping Center has been closed.. at least for now.
