Lancaster Ave to be Closed Briefly Tuesday Morning in Berwyn
It's part of a new ongoing effort to help promote events in Berwyn and Easttown.

Tuesday will literally be a banner day in Berwyn. An Easttown Township crew will be installing a banner across Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn Tuesday morning. The work is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. weather permitting and will mean brief traffic stops on Lancaster Ave as the banner is hoisted into place.
The banner will promote a non-profit community event schedeled for the fall, according to Easttown Township. The banner is part of a new effort by the township to help promote events in Berwyn. The work is done by an Easttown Township crew with assistance from the T/E School district's bucket truck. Organizations who qualify are asked to pay the cost of the installation.
Easttown Police will be on hand to direct traffic during the work, which is expected to disrupt traffic flow on Lancaster Ave for very brief periods. The banner is being strung across the road next to Fritz Lumber (between Main and Woodside Avenues).
