Meals on Wheels Lunch Volunteers in Accident
Their car was rear-ended at the Daylesford SEPTA Station underpass as they drove hot lunches to meals on wheels clients.
Two volunteers delivering hot lunches for meals on wheels were in a car that was stuck in the back by a small pick up truck on Lancaster Ave by the Daylesford SEPTA Station in Tredyffrin.
The accient happened around 11 a.m. and there were no injuries to the women in the car or to the two men in the pick up truck. The pick up truck was carrying smal auto parts.
The car was carrying hot lunches for Meals on Wheels MOW to local shut-ins. Volunteer Elizabeth Sajed was making a right turn from Lancaster Aveunue onto Old Lancaster Ave at the Daylesford Train Station underpass when her red Toyota Prius was rear-ended by small pick up truck. MOW Volunteer Carolyn Guyer was also in the car.

Guyer says they called the Meals on Wheels office and another volunteer quickly came out to take the meals on to their destination.
The pick up truck was hauled away on a flat bed, the Meals on Wheels volunteer's car was driven out from under the railroad overpass before being towed away for repairs.

Sajed drives every Thursday. She and Guyer both told Patch nothing like this had ever happened to them on a MOW delivery.
