More Than Cash at Paoli Gold and Diamond Exchange

Greg Soghomonian didn't always plan on running a cash-for-gold store, but when a partner came to him with an idea for a Paoli location, he went for it.

"There's nobody doing what we're doing right here," he said. "There's a place in Berwyn, but there's no competition here."

Beyond the location, Paoli Gold and Diamond exchange has another unique feature going for it. Soghomonian says the store will function not only as a cash-for-gold exchange shop, but also a high-end jewelry store.

"Fashion changes," he said. "People can come here and exchange their old pieces for cash, and those looking for a vintage look can come in and see what others have turned in."

Beyond the simple exchanges, Soghomonian says the store will try to keep up to date with the styles of the time, so it's jewelry store can be just as appealing as its cash exchange service. 

"People are going to be able to buy something up to date," he said.

Paoli Gold and Diamond Exchange opened in early July. It is located in Paoli West Plaza on Lancaster Avenue, in the location previously held by Shoppe Flare.
