Motorists: PECO Utility Upgrades In Tredyffrin/Easttown Begin Monday

Motorists are warned to exercise caution when driving through Tredyffrin and Easttown as road will be closed throughout both municipalities.

TREDYFFRIN/EASTTOWN —PECO utility improvements begin Monday, March 13 on state roads throughout Tredyffrin and Easttown townships.

PENNDOT remind motorists to exercise caution and allow extra time when driving in both townships. The road will be reduced to one lane or closed in both directions.

The work is part of PECO’s $1.36 billion on targeted reliability-focused electric system infrastructure investments during a five-year period from 2021 through 2025.

PECO said the work will help to prevent customer outages, modernize the electric grid, and reduce the impact of extreme weather on electric infrastructure. This work will also support the adoption of clean energy resources.
