New Chief to be Sworn in Monday
Anthony Giaimo will officially drop one word from his current title.
A 23 year veteran of the Tredyfrrin Police Department will be sworn in as the new chief of police Monday. The ceremony during the scheduled Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors meeting Monday will allow Anthony Giaimo to drop the word "Acting" from his current job title as he becomes Superintendent of the Tredyffrin Police Department.
Giaimo was selected after a four month screening and interviewing process that saw the field of candidates whittled down from ten to three finalists (including two from outside the Tredyffrin Police Department) and finally to his appointment last week.
