New Devon State Store Will Open Before Paoli
New Pennsylvania State Store is on the fast track in Devon.
A short distance move is now only a short time away, according to employees at the Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits store in Devon.
The store will move from its current location at the front of the same shopping center as Whole Foods to the former Bellini's Furniture store, next door to Whole Foods.
Employees at the state store tell TE Patch work is now underway inside the former furniture store location. The new store is expeted to be ready in about six weeks. While the employees say they do not have an exact target date yet, the new store could be opened by Memorial Day or early June.

The new store will be next door to the Whole Foods Market, which also sells wine. The Whole Foods pub sells wine and beer for consumption in the store's pub. Customers who buy wine at Whole Foods must have the bottle opened there but can re-cork it to take it home.
Meanwhile, the new state store in Paoli, which has been planned since last year, now appears to be on hold until at least mid-summer. State store employees in both the current Paoli location and in Devon say the Paoli store move has been delayed and work crews will now focus on Devon Village location first.
