New Traffic Patterns coming To Busy TT Road

A week-long construction is set to begin Monday on one of Tredyffrin Township's busiest roads.

Sewer line construction begins Monday on a section of Swedesford Road. The following information is posted on the Tredyffrin Township website:

Tredyffrin Township to Install Sewer Main on Swedesford Road

  Tredyffrin Township will switch traffic patterns on Swedesford Road between Route 252 (Bear Hill Road) and the Route 202 interchange in Chester County beginning Jan. 28 through Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for sewer main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Tredyffrin Township will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to www.511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
