PA Powerball Tickets Selling at Frantic Pace

With more than a half a billion at stake, many are catching "Powerball fever"

As the Powerball jackpot grows by the minute, Kaushick Patel is doing a brisk business at the Berwyn News Agency on Lancaster Avenue across from the Berwyn Train Station.

At five cents per ticket sold, he's not going to be retiring any time soon, but when the PA Powerball game jackpot climbs to over $500 million Patel is making a few more bucks than on a normal lottery jackpot day.

The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time. Until then ticket machines in the states that participate in Powerall will be cranking out thousands of tickets per minute.
