Paoli Funeral Home Co-Founder Dies at 89

Their funeral home has been a Paoli business landmark since its founding in 1953. Lena Madonna Alleva, who co-founded the Alleva funeral home in Paoli with her late husband Vincent, has died at age 89.

Mrs. Alleva was an active participant in the family business until her retirement in 2003. Alleva died on June 15 and was remembered during funeral services Wednesday at St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Paoli, where she had been a member for the past 54 years.
