Paoli Hospital Ranks Among Region's Best

U.S. News and World Report says Paoli Hospital ranks 15th in the Philadelphia region and 28th in Pennsylvania in a new survey of patient satisfaction.

The report says Paoli's highest rankings come in the areas of

•  Geriatrics
• Nephrology

• Orthopedics
• Urology

The report is based on data provided by the American Hospital Associtation and gives Paoli an 87% satisfaction rate among recently released patients.

According to the report, "Paoli Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital in Paoli, PA. It performed nearly at the level of nationally ranked U.S. News Best Hospitals in 5 adult specialties, as shown below. Paoli Hospital has 203 beds. The hospital had 13,398 admissions in the latest year for which data are available. It performed 3,654 annual inpatient and 3,790 outpatient surgeries. Its emergency room had 34,413 visits."
