Paoli Rita's Opens Saturday with 50% Off Deal

Rita's Water Ice in Paoli changed hands over the winter and the new owners want to introduce themselves to as many customers as possible.

So owner Bryan Clay is having a huge sale, offering 50 percent off everything on the menu on Saturday, March 2.

Clay and his wife Ayse purchased the store at 1776 Lancaster Ave. during the off season and have been gearing up for the 2013 season since, including attending Rita's Cool University aka "Cool U" to study the art and business of "ice, custard, happiness"

Clay says they'll have "15 or 16" water ice flavors on the menu, along with all the other regular menu items like custard.

Rita's Paoli hours for the spring will be 12-9 p.m. seven days a week.

Saturday's sale is only at the Paoli Rita's location and is different from the chain-wide First Day of Spring promotion when every Rita's gives away free water ice all day.
