Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays along a portion Conestoga Road, the utility said.

TREDYFFRIN, PA - Natural gas work in Tredyffrin Township will last for several months, according to PECO.

The gas utility will be replacing the existing natural gas equipment to enhance service, including installing new underground pipe.

The new pipe is expected to be more durable, enhance safety and improve service reliability, PECO said.

“Most of the work will be performed outdoors, but to safely connect your property to the new natural gas main, PECO or a PECO contractor will need to turn off natural gas service and then enter your property to relight your appliances after the connection,” PECO said in a service notice to affected area residents.

Those with questions or to schedule an appointment are asked to contact Josh Cousens of Utility Line Services at (267) 473-7149.
