Another Pickpocket Victim Robbed at Gateway

Thief moved quickly and cashed in fast.

Tredyffrin Police are investigating a second recent case of a pickpocket who moved quickly and wasted no time in using credit cards taken from an unsuspecting victim in Gateway Shopping Center.

Police say the thief struck last Thursday, (July 5) and took a wallet at an unnamed establishment in the Gateway Shopping Center. Tredyffrin Police were not called about the crime until the next day, Friday (July 6).

By the time police were called to investigate credit cards taken by the pickpocket had already been used.  According to police "two credit cards were in the wallet and had been used to make fraudulent purchases in the amounts of $999.00 and $465.00."

Police did not disclose whether both crimes happened at the same establishment in the shopping center.
