Police Charge Man in Theft of $700 Worth of Formula From Berwyn Store
A man loaded a cart with 40 cans of baby formula, police said.

A Philadelphia man has been charged with retail theft after Tredyffrin Township Police said he attempted to steal $700 worth of baby formula from a Berwyn store.
Around 7:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at the Pathmark in Berwyn, store management observed a man load multiple cans of baby formula into a cart and head for the door, police said. Employees approached the man, who fled, leaving behind the cart with 40 cans of formula. The formula was worth $700, police said.
Police later located the man, Joseph Wilson, 35, of Philadelphia, and charged him with retail theft.
