Police Chief: We Will Find Cookie Robber
Tredyffrin's Police Chief makes personal promise to the scouts who were robbed,
Tredyffrin Police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo sent TE Patch the following statement Sunday night regarding the strong arm robbery of Girl Scouts at the Pathmark in Berwyn:
"Due to the terrible misfortune and the callous act of a criminal who robbed Girl Scouts, we at the police department not only vow to find this individual and bring him to justice, but I will personally reimburse the scouts for their loss."
Uniformed officers and detectives were on the scene within minutes of the call and were gathering information, conducting interviews and looking for evidence in and around the Pathmark until about 9:30 Sunday night.

It's the kind of crime that touches a nerve among parents and the general public alike. "It's a sin, it's really sad," said shopper Claire Luce who heard about the robbery as she arrived to shop at the Pathmark a few hours after the robbery. "It makes me nervous to come out and go shopping."
