Police Log: Tredyffrin February Arrests

Police arrested suspects for furnishing liquor to minors, breaking into a fitness center, drunken driving, and more.

TREDYFFRIN PA, —A 53-year-old Philadelphia man is accused of breaking into a fitness center on Feb. 10 in Wayne and stealing items from a gym locker, police said.

Milton Brown is charged with trespassing theft and possessing instruments of crime

He is free on $25,000 bail awaiting an arraignment.

Tredyffrin police also arrested suspects in February on charges of furnishing liquor to minors, assaults during domestic disputes, and drunken driving.

  • Furnishing Liquor To Minors: A 55-year-old Berwyn woman was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 22 on charges of furnishing liquor, malt, or brewed beverages to minors when police responded to a domestic disturbance in her residence.
  • Aggravated Assault: A 41-year-old Wayne woman was arrested Saturday, Feb. 25 on aggravated assault and related charges stemming from a domestic disturbance in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township. Maciej Jan Zamal-Gliszcynski is free on $50,000 awaiting a preliminary hearing after being arraigned before District Judge Thomas Tartaglio.
  • Criminal Trespass: A 31-year-old Westmoreland County woman was arrested on Feb. 3, on charges of criminal and defiant trespassing. Police said Alyssa Rae Nicholson of Greensburgentered a school in the Paoli section of Tredyffrin Township without permission. Nicholas also faces charges on an outstanding warrant in Westmoreland County.
  • Bad Check: A 34-year-old Lansdale man was charged with writing a bad check on Feb. 8 at a business in the Paoli section of the township. Chen Zhou is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
  • Possessing Drug Paraphernalia: A 28-year-old Norristown man was charged on Feb. 12 with possessing a controlled substance following a traffic incident in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township. Police said Robert Thomas was driving with a suspended license.
  • Criminal Mischief: An 18-year-old King of Prussia man is accused of criminal mischief in connection with a Feb.15 fight in an apartment in the Devon section of Tredyffrin Township. Adam Tuzza is free on $5,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing.

Drunken Driving

Two suspects were arrested on charges of drunken driving in Tredyffrin Township. The legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania is .08%.

Individuals who refuse a test may be subjected to a license suspension of 12 months, which runs consecutively with any other suspensions.

The suspension will be 18 months if the driver has a prior refusal suspension, a prior driving under the influence conviction, or any similar prior offense.

  • Christopher Waterman, 31, Wayne: Blood-alcohol content 0.16 percent
