Police Log: Tredyffrin Township
Suspects were arrested in July on charges of stealing a car, threatening a coworker, threatening a police officer, drunken driving, and more
TREDYFFRIN TWP —Tredyffrim police report these arrests in July:
- Michele Fritz, 65, of Berwyn is free on $10,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault and harrassment following a domestic disturbance on June 29 in the Berwyn section of Tredyffrin Township.
- Latif Custis, 20, of Philadelphia is free on $10,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of receiving stolen property after officers responded to a hotel in the Berwyn section of Tredyffrin Township on July 5 for a report of a missing person out of Philadelphia. A criminal warrant was later filed for Custis, charging him with burglary and criminal trespass.
- Gerald Bennett, 34 of Philadelphia is free awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of retail theft and providing false identification to law enforcement he was observed on July 12 removing an item from a Paoli retail establishment. He also attempted to identify himself as another individual when he was contacted by police.
- Michael Evans, 41 of Sicklerville, N.J. is in Chester County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing on a charge of vehicle theft. Police said he stole a vehicle from a business in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township on July 15.
- Vincent Masciantonio, 61 of West Chester is free on $15,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of terroristic threats, harassment, and disorderly conduct after he threatened bodily harm to a coworker on July 21 at a business in the Paoli section of Tredyffrin Township.
- Morgan Ravenscroft, 28 of Newtown Square, was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct after he threatened bodily harm to an officer who was investigating a domestic disturbance on July 21 in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township.
- A warrant has been issued for Larayna Dunson, 38 of Philadelphia, after an investigation into a July 24 theft of a purse at a restaurant in the Berwyn section of Tredyffrin Township and made unauthorized purchases with the victim’s credit cards.
Drunken driving arrests
These individuals were charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs. The legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania is .08%. Individuals who refuse a test may be subjected to a license suspension of 12 months, which runs consecutively with any other suspensions. The suspension will be 18 months if the driver has a prior refusal suspension, a prior drunken driving conviction, or any similar prior offense.
- Elizabeth MacKenzie, 32 of Newtown Square: blood-alcohol content of .245%
- Guillermo Enciso, 35 of Quarryville, Lancaster County: test refused
- Jevon Royster, 42 of West Chester: test refused
- Paul Anderson, 35 of Upper Darby: driving under the influence of amphetamines, fentanyl, and methamphetamines following a motor vehicle crash. Also charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
- Kelly Gracely, 29 of Devon: blood-alcohol content of .210% and THC following a motor vehicle crash.
Outstanding warrant arrests:
- Elizabeth Ganzermiller, 35 of Pasadena, Md: retail theft.
- Stephen Richardson, 49 of Philadelphia, PA: possession of an Instrument of crime.
- Andrew Sharpe, 29 of Wayne: loitering and prowling at night, theft and receiving stolen property.
- Steven Purcell, 42 of Berwyn: failure to appear for court.
- Edward Malin, 46 of Philadelphia: theft, receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle, identity theft, and access device fraud.
