Police: Multiple Burglaries Reported in Paoli

"Homeowners are cautioned to ensure that windows and doors are locked and exterior lighting used," police said.

Three home burglaries were discovered within minutes of each other on Christmas Eve, Tredyffrin Township Police said.

According to police:

  • At 7:35 a.m. Dec. 24 on the 100 block of Biddle Road in Paoli, police responded to the report of a burglary discovered. The victims stated that several wrapped gifts were stolen from the home while the residents slept.
  • Around 7:45 a.m. Dec. 24 on Rochsolach Avenue in Paoli, the homeowner reported that several wrapped gifts and their vehicle were stolen from the home. The vehicle later was recovered in Philadelphia with a flat tire.
  • Within minutes of the others, a third burglary was discovered on Dec. 24, police said. Stolen from another home on the 100 block of Biddle Road in Paoli was a purse that contained sunglasses. The value of the purse and sunglasses totaled about $500, police said.

All three cases are under investigation, police said.
