Police Warn of "You Won a Mercedes" Scam

Tredyffrin Police say if you get a call telling you that you've won a Mercedes, it may be part of a scam.

According to a police news release:

"During the past week, several residents have reported that they are receiving phone calls from an unknown male who states that they are winners of a brand new Mercedes Benz and on some occasions, they have also won over a million dollars.

The caller then states that the “winners” must send a money order to claim their prize.

Please beware of these phone scams."
