Romney Wins Pennsylvania
Primary election turnout in TE called "lousy" by one poll worker and "slow" by many others.

Mitt Romney is the winner in Tuesday's Pennsylvania Republican Party primary.
A former Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney had little trouble winning the Pennsylvania Republican primary for President of the United States, with his closest competition coming from a man who no longer is in the race.Â
Romney finished with 57 percent of the vote, followed by former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum at 19 percent. . Texas congressman Ron Paul finished third with 13 percent, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was last with 11 percent of the vote.

Romney also swept primaries held Tuesday in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and Delaware.

Spot checks of polling places in Tredyffrin and Easttown by TE Patch revealed low voter turnout. One Deomcrat vounteer outside the Tredyfrrin Township Library Tuesday afternoon called the voter turnout "lousy" while other volunteers from both parties at several other polling places generally described turnout as slow, but steady.
