Possession, Burglary, Theft: Recent Police Reports

The following information was provided to Tredyffrin Township Police. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt.

• Around 6:50 p.m. Dec. 30 on the 400 block of Old State Road in Berwyn. Joseph Battafarano, 18, of Devon and a juvenile male whose name is being withheld were charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
• Around 5 p.m. Jan. 4 on the 600 block of Hickory Lane in Berwyn. The victim reported their credit card was fraudulently used to make $2,000 worth of purchases at the Apple store in Ardmore. The case is under investigation.
• Around 8:50 p.m. Jan. 4 on the 900 block of Fairview Avenue in Wayne. A TV, Xbox game system and two iPods were taken from the home. The case is under investigation.
• Around 7:10 a.m. Jan. 5 on Atwater Drive in Malvern. A theft of equipment from a site currently under construction was reported to police. The total value of missing items is unknown at this time. The case is under investigation.
