Prostitution Suspects Due in Court in Devon

It's a case that has taken two suspects from Oregon from the Courtyard by Marriott to the Courtroom of a Devon Magistrate.

Two suspects arrested last Friday in a prostitution bust in Devon are due in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.

According to court documents, Tredyffrin Township police were called to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Devon at 4 p.m. last Friday, July 13.

According to a police press release "patrol officers working in conjunction with criminal investigators contacted and identified a subject who admitted to using the sexual services of a prostitute after connecting with the actor through the internet."

The investigation led police to Jacquelyn Stahley, 24, of Portland Oregon. She was arrested on prostitution-related charges. Police also arrested Jamaal Marquice Lambert, 29, also of Portland Oregon. Lambert is charged with possesion of controlled substances and "relatedcharges to the scheme." Police say he had "a large amount of currency" in his posession when he was arrested."

The two suspects were arraigned, locked up in Chester County Prison on $15,000 cash bail each. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Devon District Court Wednesday morning.  New details of the crime are expected to be revealed in court when prosecutors outline at least some specifics of the case against the two suspects.
