Report: Tredyffrin Doc's Conviction Overruled

The conviction of a Tredyffin doctor on charges he illegally sold diet pills has been overturned.

According to an article on Main Line Media News, The Pennsylvania Superior Court overturned the conviction of Dr. Richard Brown of Tredyffrin because it found that evidence about Brown's medical school background should not have been allowed to be presented to the jury.

According to the report, Brown had been in state prison serving an eight to 16 year sentence since his sentencing last year. The story reports Brown was released on $50,000 bail after the conviction was overturned last week.
