Retail Theft, Theft from Auto, Wallet Theft: Recent Police Reports

The following information comes from Tredyffrin Township Police. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt.
- Around 3 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Valley Forge Middle School parking lot. The victim discovered the that her vehicle’s passenger side window had been broken and her purse stolen. Her purse contained cash, credit cards and other items. One of the credit cards was fraudulently used later that day.
- Around 3 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Barnes and Noble store in Berwyn. Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Alan Pekovsky, 61, of Westville, N.J., on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property after police said he fled the scene of the theft after he was confronted by store employees. The amount of stolen items totaled more than $500, police said.
- Around 1:45 p.m. Dec. 20 on East Central Avenue in Paoli. The victim reported her wallet stolen. It contained credit cards and identification, police said. By the time the theft was discovered, the credit cards had been fraudulently used in King of Prussia to make several transactions.
