Sandy Relief:Thousands of Items Donated
Hundreds of Patch readers respond to call to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Hundreds of Patch readers proved once again why the Delaware Valley is home to people with the biggest hearts anywhere.
In just two days our Patch Sandy Relief drive resulted in thousands of items for people left homeless or struggling to cope in devastated areas less than two hours away.
TE Patch and Springfield Patch readers just kept coming and coming, dropping off donations of everything from water to warm clothes, baby formula, toys, cleaning supplies, batteries, ready-to-eat food, canned goods and so much more that will make a real difference to the people struggling to get their lives back to normal more than two weeks after Sandy hit.
