School Board Names New Conestoga Assistant Principal
A few staff changes were announced during this week's school board meeting.

The Tredyffrin/Easttown Board of School Directors approved several actions at this week’s meeting to make staff changes at the administrative levels of the district.
James Bankert has been appointed as Assistant Principal of Conestoga High School. He will join the Conestoga High School administrative team of Principal Amy Meisinger and Assistant Principals Pat Boyle and Anthony DiLella.
Prior to joining T/E, Bankert served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director in Octorara School District. He also taught English at the high school level for eight years at Octorara High School and he was a districtwide Curriculum and Technology Coach/Integrator.
The board also named Mark Cataldi Director of Assessment and Accountability effective July 1, 2015, replacing the retiring Robin McConnell.

Cataldi has served as building principal at T/E Middle School for the last ten years and has been with the District since 1996. As middle school Assistant Principal, Cataldi served as the school assessment coordinator. In addition to his current role as building principal at T/E Middle School, he is also the current District Safety Coordinator and facilitator of the District Safety Committee. .
“I am grateful for this opportunity to continue to serve the students, parents, staff and T/E community. I’m excited to contribute to the mission and vision of the District in new ways,” said Cataldi.
His promotion leaves an empty slot at the middle school, one that will be filled by Andrew Phillips in July.

For the last five years, Phillips has served as Assistant Principal at Conestoga High School and performed various roles including overseeing Conestoga’s academic program, developing the high school master schedule and supervising the high school course selection process. He also coordinated standardized testing and facilitated the Instructional Intervention Team.
“I feel honored to work in the T/E School District with such incredible students,” said Phillips. “They are a reflection of the remarkable families that live in this district.”
