Search On for Car in Girl Scout Cookie Heist

Tredyffrin Police are now looking for a "car of interest" in connection with strong arm cookie robbery of 4th graders.

Tredyffrin Police detectives are searching for what one source close to the investigation is describing as "a car of interest" in connection with the strong arm robbery of fourth grade girl scouts on Sunday at the Pathmark in Berwyn.

Security camera video now has led police to search for a car that may have been used in connection with the crime.

A police source tells TE Patch that detectives are looking for a dark blue, two-door Honda Accord, most likely a 2007-2008 year model.

The man described as in his twenties got away with only about twenty dollars in cookie money after a girl scout put up a brief struggle when the man tried to grab a cash box on the table that was set up just inside the Pathmark's entrance way.

Police say the man also grabbed an undetermined amount of money from a collection box for soldiers that was also on the table. Detectives say the man fled out the front door of the store and ran toward the back of the building into the darkness.
