Below are details on police investigations conducted in May:

May 1
Tredyffrin Township Patrol Officers filed charges against an adult female after investigating an initial complaint of an adult female soliciting money in a shopping center located in the Devon section of Tredyffrin Township. Further investigation revealed that the subject was providing false identification to law enforcement and was in possession of methamphetamine. Officers also discovered an active assault arrest warrant for the subject out of New York City. This individual was charged with providing False Identification to Law Enforcement, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

May 9
After receiving multiple complaints related to local retail establishments selling tobacco products to minors, Tredyffrin Township Detectives participated in compliance checks of these establishments in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Health. One employee from an establishment in the Paoli section of Tredyffrin Township was cited for Furnishing Tobacco to Minors. The incident was also reported to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of Tobacco Prevention and Control, for possible enforcement against the store.

May 18
Tredyffrin Township Patrol Officers were dispatched to a private residence in the Chesterbrook section of Tredyffrin Township for the report of a domestic dispute. After further investigation, an adult female was arrested and charged with Stalking, Defiant Trespass, and Harassment.

May 24
A Tredyffrin Township Patrol Officer stopped a vehicle that was displaying a suspended registration. The adult female operator provided the officer with an insurance card that was later determined to be fraudulent. That female was charged with providing the officer with Altered, Forged, or Counterfeit Documents, Tampering with Public Records or Information, and operating a vehicle without Required Financial Responsibility.

May 23
Tredyffrin Township Patrol Officers responded to a retail establishment in the Paoli section of Tredyffrin Township for a reported fight in progress between two males. On arrival, only one of the individuals was still on location. After investigating the incident, one of the subjects was charged with Simple Assault.
