Chester County and surrounding areas until 10 p.m.

Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties are all included in the watch.
Thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service, and may be accompanied by strong wind gusts, heavy rain and frequent lightning.

Right now, the area is under a watch, which means that the potential exists for those conditions. If it gets upgraded to a warning, that means that the the severe weather is actually happening.
