Slow Going for Chesco Commuters Thursday AM

If you're heading toward Concordville by car or Center City by Train, give yourself extra time.

Commuters heading out of the Tredyffrin and Easttown area by car or train should be prepared for some slow going.

 Commuters who drive 202 South of West Chester will run into a major delay on US 202 at Route 1 in Concordville.  That is a major intersection and will slow the morning rush for thousands of drivers headed toward the State Farm Complex in Concordville or toward Delaware.

A flatbed tractor trailer overturned in the early morning hours, spilling diesel fuel all over the southbound lanes by the Painter's Crossing shopping center. The road has been covered in sand to soak up the slick fuel.

SEPTA had early morning signal problems on the Paoli-Thorndale line which caused major delays in the early morning hours. SEPTA's website says the problems have been corrected and cleared and the first train from Paoli into Center City was runing as an express to help clear the backlog.  Local TV traffic reports however were advising commuters to be prepared for possible dealys related to the problem.
