Because of the shipper's timeline, we are going to collect more items today only from 10:15 a.m. until Noon at 654 Lancaster Ave in Berwyn. That's directly across from the Berwyn Train Station at the corner of Lancaster Avenue and Main Ave in Berwyn.
Urgent Need for Diapers.
The distribution center in State Island reports this morning that they are running very low on diapers and may in fact run out today. If you can bring diapers today you will help meet one of the most pressing needs in the areas of Staten Island hardest hit by Sandy.
Other items they need:
- Work gloves
- Cleaning Supplies
- Canned Goods and other Non-Perishable food items.
- Baby food
- Small toys and batteries.
Please do not bring clothing items at this time. They have more than they can handle at the distribution center at the moment.
