Street Parking Fines Doubled Since Last Show
If you figured you'd just 'risk' a ticket and park in the neighborhoods near the Devon Horse Show Grounds, read this.
It's been almost ten months since the Easttown Board of Supervisors, responding in part to neighbors complaints about parking problems, doubled the parking fines around the Devon Horse Show Grounds.
So if you thought you'd just risk a ticket because it's about the same as paying for parking, be reminded and be warned. The fine has doubled since last year's horse show. If you get nicked for a ticket this year, it will cost you fifty bucks. That is substantially more than paying for parking, and that is precisely the point.
The message for this year's fans: don't park on neighborhood streets. Frustrated local residents will call it in and you'll be out $50.
